Donna Hallworth, LCSW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (NJ Lic #44SC01307900) and has recently earned her certification as a Hypnotherapist. Donna is a registered member of the International Hypnosis Federation as a certified hypnotherapist and a member of the medical and dental division. Donna has been a member of the Connections Counseling family since 2009. She earned a Master's in Social Work at Rutgers University as well as a Master's Degree in School Leadership at Rowan University. Donna has also completed certifications and specialized trainings in Child Sexual Abuse and Crisis Intervention. As a former school principal, Donna is familiar with the private and public school systems. She has presented trainings, on a variety of topics, at local agencies, as well as state-wide conferences. Donna is excited to now offer hypnosis for weight loss and smoking cessations, as well as anxiety reduction. She earned her Master's in Counseling from Cairn University in 2012 where she was awarded the Linda Babb Scholarship for academic excellence. She earned an advanced counseling degree from Cairn University in 2013. She has specialized training from the University of Pennsylvania in the treatment of anxiety disorders (such as OCD) by utilizing exposure and response prevention techniques. Denise M. Bott, M.Ed., LPC is a Licensed Professional Counselor (NJ Lic #37PC00058900) in NJ since 1998 and has worked in the field since 1992. She is a graduate of Drew University (BA in Psychology) and The Pennsylvania State University (M.Ed. in Rehabilitation Counseling). Denise focuses her practice on working with individuals 18 years of age and older (both men and women), as well as couples. Her approach is eclectic in nature and she strongly believes that counseling must be collaborative for treatment to be successful. Lawrence Peers, MA, Counselor Intern Larry is a counselor-in-training at Connections Counseling while completing a Post-Master's Certificate in Mental Health Counseling at Arcadia University to prepare for licensure. His clinical internship is under the supervision of Ginean Crawford, MFT, LPC, ACS (NJ Lic #37PC00290800). Larry returns to the counseling field after 12 years of coaching individuals on issues of personal and career transition, well-being and leadership. He earned his Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University. Larry is dedicated to helping clients move toward their possibilities in life, career and relationships through an integrated therapeutic approach drawing upon his training in family therapy, narrative therapy, career counseling, conflict transformation, coaching psychology and mindfulness-focused cognitive behavioral therapies. Larry works with a wide range of clients: those seeking personal growth, as well as those moving through depression, anxiety, betrayal, grief, career/life transitions or interpersonal tensions/conflict.
