Donna Hallworth, LCSW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (NJ Lic #44SC01307900) and has recently earned her certification as a Hypnotherapist. Donna is a registered member of the International Hypnosis Federation as a certified hypnotherapist and a member of the medical and dental division. Donna has been a member of the Connections Counseling family since 2009. She earned a Master's in Social Work at Rutgers University as well as a Master's Degree in School Leadership at Rowan University. Donna has also completed certifications and specialized trainings in Child Sexual Abuse and Crisis Intervention. As a former school principal, Donna is familiar with the private and public school systems. She has presented trainings, on a variety of topics, at local agencies, as well as state-wide conferences. Donna is excited to now offer hypnosis for weight loss and smoking cessations, as well as anxiety reduction. In addition, Donna conducts the required bariatric assessments for psychological-readiness for weight loss surgeries. Donna’s additional professional experiences have focused on working with families and children, including children with special needs. Wendy Hughes, MSCC, LPC is a Licensed Professional Counselor (NJ Lic #37PC000581400). She earned her Bachelor's from Rowan University in 2010 where she graduated summa cum laude. She earned her Master's in Counseling from Cairn University in 2012 where she was awarded the Linda Babb Scholarship for academic excellence. She earned an advanced counseling degree from Cairn University in 2013. She has specialized training from the University of Pennsylvania in the treatment of anxiety disorders (such as OCD) by utilizing exposure and response prevention techniques. She enjoys helping people with a wide range of challenges including generalized anxiety disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, depression, anxiety, marital conflict, PTSD, trauma, family issues and more. Wendy has a background as a first responder and is experienced in treating the unique issues that come with being a police office, firefighter, paramedic, EMT or combat veteran. She has an integrative approach to counseling, but her primary focus is cognitive and behavioral in nature. Stephanie Szigethy, MA, LPC is a Licensed Professional Counselor (NJ Lic #37PC00595200). Stephanie graduated Magna Cum Laude from Lebanon Valley College where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in English with a specialized concentration in Psychology. She earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Rowan University. Stephanie has also spoken, presented on, and published clinical research both nationally and internationally. She has a history of experience providing crisis response, psychological first aid, and stress debriefing in the aftermath of trauma, and has worked with individuals to reduce burnout and compassion fatigue. She enjoys helping people with a vast range of life challenges that may arise, including helping individuals challenged with identity and sexuality, relationship difficulties, self-esteem, PTSD and abuse recovery, grief and bereavement (including postpartum depression and perinatal loss), and recovery from chemical dependence. Above all else, Stephanie believes that your personal therapeutic relationship is the key to success, and is genuine and authentic in her treatment to help create a feeling of comfort, trust, and safety in the therapeutic relationship. Brittany Wooster, MA, LAC is a Licensed Associate Counselor (NJ Lic # 37AC00289400), which means she has passed all the educational and testing requirements for licensure, and is completing her remaining clinical experience under the supervision of Ginean Crawford, MFT, LPC, ACS (NJ Lic #37PC00290800). Brittany graduated with a BA in Psychology from Susquehanna University and went on to earn her Master’s in Counseling in Educational Settings from Rowan University in 2010. Brittany continued at Stockton to gain certification as a Student Assistance Coordinator (SAC), gaining knowledge and clinical skills in the area of substance abuse issues. Brittany is a full-time school counselor in Camden County and works with students (11-18) on academic planning, behavioral challenges and a wide range of social emotional issues. Brittany has clinical experience, in addition to working at school, with children (6-18) suffering from trauma, anxiety, depression, ADD/ADHD, conduct disorders and other common challenges adolescents experience in their daily lives. Brittany feels that providing a safe space, free of judgement, is essential to helping individuals gain better understanding and discover strategies to improve their functioning and relationships with others. Participation from family members often enhances this experience and provides the person with fundamental support, which Brittany encourages.
